These are instructions on how to restore your clips from our January 30th update that wiped your projects. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out directly to our founder, Sarah, at hello@lifelpaseapp.com. We are sorry again for the inconvenience that this has caused and are taking measure to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

Step 1

Go to the Apple App store. On the bottom tab, click “Updates”, then update Life Lapse. This should be version 0.19.2. If you don’t see the update, it may have autoupdated already.

Step 6

There will be an option to recover photo clips or video clips. Select one of the two. You will see a large list of files from here. Right now, because we wanted you to have access to your projects ASAP, you can only import one clip at a time. We are working having the ability the select multiple files at once and bulk import. We will update these instructions when that is complete!

Step 7

When you open the clip, click on the top right hand side “+” sign.

Step 8

Choose a project that you want to import the clip into.

Step 9

Repeat step 5 & 6 until your project is fully restored.
