Want to Uplevel your Video Content?!

Here at Life Lapse, we are all for supporting other creators and the resources they have poured their heart and soul into in an effort to help out their fellow creatives. As a result, we wanted to take the opportunity to shine a spotlight on a few of our favourites because they are too good to keep to ourselves. We consider these three people experts at what they do so why not learn from the best. They are the best and better yet, they have taken the guesswork out of key areas of what it takes to be a successful creator these days!

1. Brand Magic by Colette Peri: Learn how to Price your Creative Services and Land Clients

Colette’s work as a Stop Motion Artist speaks for itself. After years of success she launched the Brand Magic course, pulling back the curtains on her methodology so that others can transform their career and take it to the next level as an artist, stop motion or otherwise.

As Colette says, ‘From defining your artistic style, building credibility and a portfolio, pitching to brands, pricing your work like a boss, negotiating and writing contracts to finally getting booked with your dream clients, I created this course to take you step-by-step into the magic of working with brands’.

Click on the link to her course for more details. This course is for any creative looking to not only learn about the business side of things, but it also provides an opportunity to connect with other creators around the world.

If you need further convincing, you only need to take a glance at her Instagram feed to see the stop motion magic she has made for some awesome global companies. We are lucky enough to call Colette both a friend and co-collaborator, having worked on several projects together over the years.

2. Magic Through Motion by Claire Oring: Learning the Basics, and Beyond, of Stop Motion Animation

If you were lucky enough to secure yourself a seat to Claire’s webinar held this past Sunday, October 17th, you were probably one of the first to learn about her new course: Magic Through Motion. In her course, you will get to learn both basic and advanced stop motion techniques using a DSLR camera and computer software.

To quote Claire, herself, ‘Magic Through Motion will give you the technical tools, step-by-step guidance and support you need to add stop motion animation to your portfolio’. In case you aren’t aware video content is gold these days and what better way to create some than with eye catching, scroll stopping stop motion videos.

Here at Life Lapse, we have been fortunate to work with Claire, personally, on this lovely Holiday animation so we have firsthand knowledge of how great her work is.

Don’t just take our word for it, be sure to check out Claire’s Instagram for more inspiration and to see why we strongly believe she knows her stuff.
